Housekeeper

Contract: Full Time- Perm

Hour: 35 hours per week

Pay: £13.08 per hour weekdays & £13.58 per hour weekends

Shift: 9am – 3pm/ 2pm to 8pm - Weekday and alternative Weekends

Location: 44 Church Street, Rickmansworth, WD3 1JE

We are seeking a Housekeeper to join our welcoming team at Riverside Lodge Care Home in Rickmansworth. This luxury 75-bed care home offers exceptional residential, dementia and respite care in elegant surroundings, featuring stylish lounges and dining areas, a hair and beauty salon, cinema, café, spacious en-suite bedrooms, and beautifully landscaped gardens, all in the heart of Rickmansworth

As a Housekeeper you will maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the home, ensuring residents are safe, comfortable and have a welcoming tidy environment, through compassionate and person-centred approach to supporting resident’s wellbeing.

What You’ll Bring

• You must have relevant experience or willing to learn the necessary skills.
• A positive, caring, and respectful attitude towards residents.
• Excellent attention to detail and high cleaning standards.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures, hygiene, and infection control.
• The ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Reliability, flexibility, and a strong work ethic.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• You’ll help create a homely and caring atmosphere for our residents and ensure the quality of their lives is maximised.
• Provide a full range of housekeeping and cleaning duties, ie sanitising rooms, bathrooms, communal areas and changing and making beds, with cored disposal of waste.
• Provide support with Laundry duties including replenishing linen and supplies

• Following health and safety policies and procedures.
