Housekeeper

Contract: Flexible/Bank

Hour: 0-10 hours per week

Pay: £12.71 per hour weekdays & £12.77 per hour weekends

Shift: 9am – 2pm/ 2pm to 5pm - Weekday and alternative Weekends

Location: Tye Green Village, Harlow, Essex, CM18 6QY

We are seeking an experienced Housekeeper to join our Care Home Tye Green Lodge in Harlow. Nestled in the heart of Harlow, Tye Green Lodge combines high-quality care with modern, comfortable living. This 61 bed purpose-built home features spacious en-suite accommodation, elegant communal areas, and beautifully maintained gardens. Residents benefit from personalised care, engaging activities, and a supportive community designed to promote independence, dignity, and quality of life.

As a Housekeeper you will maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the home, ensuring residents are safe, comfortable and have a welcoming tidy environment, through compassionate and person-centred approach to supporting resident’s wellbeing.

What You’ll Bring

• You must have relevant experience or willing to learn the necessary skills.
• A positive, caring, and respectful attitude towards residents.
• Excellent attention to detail and high cleaning standards.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures, hygiene, and infection control.
• The ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Reliability, flexibility, and a strong work ethic.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• You’ll help create a homely and caring atmosphere for our residents and ensure the quality of their lives is maximised.
• Provide a full range of housekeeping and cleaning duties, ie sanitising rooms, bathrooms, communal areas and changing and making beds, with cored disposal of waste.
• Provide support with Laundry duties including replenishing linen and supplies

• Following health and safety policies and procedures.
