Senior Care Assistant/Team Leader

Contract: Full Time – Perm     

Hour: 30 – 37 hours per week

Pay: £16.32 per hour weekdays & £17.32 per hour weekends

Shift Times: 7.30am to 2.30pm/2.30pm to 9.30pm – Weekdays and alternative Weekends

We are seeking a Senior Care Assistant to join our welcoming team at Riverside Lodge Care Home in Rickmansworth. This luxury 75-bed care home offers exceptional residential, dementia and respite care in elegant surroundings, featuring stylish lounges and dining areas, a hair and beauty salon, cinema, café, spacious en-suite bedrooms, and beautifully landscaped gardens, all in the heart of Rickmansworth

As a Senior Care Assistant, you will lead with compassion, inspire the team and make a real difference every day. Turn your passion for care into leadership and help create exceptional moments for residents every day.

What You’ll Bring

• Essential to hold a Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care.
• Desirable to hold a Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (Or willingness to work towards).
• You must have substantial experience of working with older people in a residential care setting and a real passion for leading and delivering outstanding care to our residents.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Taking a leadership role on a designated unit.
• Reviewing and updating care plans.
• Giving personal care to residents.
• Administering medication and ensuring that social activities are provided during each shift
