Housekeeper

Contract: Part Time - Perm

Hour: 20 - 25 hours per week

Pay: £12.71 per hour weekdays & £12.77 per hour weekends

Shift: 9am – 2pm/ 3pm - Weekday and alternative Weekends

Location: Hayward Close, Stevenage, SG1 5BS

We are seeking a Housekeeper to join our welcoming team at Jubilee Court Care Home in Stevenage. Located in a quiet residential area with excellent transport links, Jubilee Court is a modern, purpose-built 91-bed care home providing residential, dementia and respite care. With beautifully landscaped gardens, excellent facilities and a strong focus on person-centred care, Jubilee Court offers a supportive environment where residents and colleagues can thrive.

As a Housekeeper you will maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the home, ensuring residents are safe, comfortable and have a welcoming tidy environment, through compassionate and person-centred approach to supporting resident’s wellbeing.

What You’ll Bring

• You must have relevant experience or willing to learn the necessary skills.
• A positive, caring, and respectful attitude towards residents.
• Excellent attention to detail and high cleaning standards.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures, hygiene, and infection control.
• The ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Reliability, flexibility, and a strong work ethic.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• You’ll help create a homely and caring atmosphere for our residents and ensure the quality of their lives is maximised.
• Provide a full range of housekeeping and cleaning duties, ie sanitising rooms, bathrooms, communal areas and changing and making beds, with cored disposal of waste.
• Provide support with Laundry duties including replenishing linen and supplies

• Following health and safety policies and procedures.
